Editing
I worked for How To Cake It for 3 years as an editor and occasionally a videographer. My main responsibility was editing content for all of their social media platforms. I spent years learning how to edit videos that grabbed attention and worked well with each platform's algorithm in order to optimize engagement.
I often handle last minute requests for social media videos from various clients. Providing fast turn around and adhering to their specific brand requirements, while giving advice based on social media experience. Some companies include: Luks Vodka, Intercity Realty and LunaEvents.
I started at Hacksmith Entertainment as an intern while at Humber College. Several months before graduating I was offered a full time position. I performed a wide range of production related tasks, including videography, production planning, editing and social media planning. The videos we created were extremely successful and I am very proud that I was able to contribute to each one.
I started freelance videography and editing in 2019 and have since shot a variety of events and real estate locations. I use my Ronin S to capture stunning smooth shots that make the final product look stylish and professional. Being able to capture such beautiful moments like a wedding or a proposal, is just a pleasure and the reactions of my clients when they see the final edit makes me love what I do.
I have shot and edited a variety of videos for Canadian Robotics company, Clearpath Robotics. I apply a specific editing style to each video, focusing on educating their audience while keep their interest by showcasing the fascinating technology that goes into each robot. I also edit their social media content and marketing photos.
